Job Description
Ability to safely and efficiently operate crawler and rough terrain crane to move and/or lift materials, heavy weights and ensure safe lifting operations at all time, no overriding of safety devices and all loads are in accordance with crane limits.
Delivery, loading and unloading of equipment and/or goods as designated.
Able to operate crane’s related attachments in a safe manner and support any crawler-related operations as and when necessary.
Follow operational procedures with due care and diligence and notify Superior immediately and stop work in the event of any unsafe conditions or acts during operations.
Perform pre-operational checks before lifting operations and report any defects and malfunction of the crane to Superior immediately.
Conduct daily preventive maintenance check and carry out regular servicing when required to always allow the crane stay operational.
Able to work from height to ascertain whether the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operations and report this to the lifting supervisor.
Perform housekeeping to ensure a neat and tidy work place
Requirements
· Min 3-5 years of relevant working experience
· Physically fit with positive attitude and responsible character
· Valid Class 5 driving licence
· Registered Crawler/Mobile Crane Operator (MOM licensed)
· Ability to operate above 60-ton rough terrain crane and/or crane crawler
· Able to read and communicate in simple English
· Willing to work on weekends and Public Holidays, night shift works and flexibility to work overtime when necessary
· Ability to work alone in confined spaces for long duration and at height
· Good team player and work effectively with site staff and ensure strict compliance on safety protocols
· Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course
· Valid CSOC (WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health In Construction Sites)
· Willing to do mechanical work
