HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST for Regional Human Resources Department

Job Descriptions:

  • To create, manage and execute HR plans, strategies and effective HR management and development that will support the sustaining growth of Sumitomo Corporation Group liaising with HR in Tokyo Headquater in mostly Japanese.
  • To manage an effective compensation system and structures in order to attract, retain and motivate the right people and ensure that employees' remunerations are competitive in the market.
  • To support formulating HR systems in group companies that show employees the direction the company is headed in, keeping in mind the operational changes that may follow.
  • To oversee and manage the development and implementation of effective HR training and development polices, programs and infrastructures in accordance with management's expectations and employees career aspirations and developments.
  • To take leadership role in regional HR functions, talent management and staff developments through partnering regional HR members to strengthen the regional human resources and talent management as well as HR infrastructures development.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
  • Comprehensive and deep understanding, knowledge on general Human Resources system, Human Resources development and labour law in a certain country.
  • More than 10 years experience in Human Resources, including formulating HR strategy/initiative, designing/developing HR systems, and consulting other companies for various HR matter.
  • More than 5 years experience in managing staffs.
  • High proficiency in Japanese and English (both writing and speaking) to effectively communicate with counterparts in Headquarter in Japan, and offices in the region.
  • More than 5 years experiences in managing staffs.'s business development and investments.
