Duties
- Construct, create, and maintain a BIM model using pre-existing 2D CAD or PDF designs or start from scratch.
- Verify the quality of the models and find any interdisciplinarity conflicts.
- Create and maintain Revit-based plans, sections, elevations, and details that can be utilized for fabrication, shop drawings, as-built drawings, tender drawings, authority submission drawings, and design analyses.
- Create a 3D center-line model so that a structural engineer may analyze it.
- Upkeep and application of the business's BIM guidelines, contents, facade template, and library
- Any additional ad hoc tasks that the supervisor assigns
Requirements
- Need to grasp the fundamentals of facade design at the very least. It is essential to have experience submitting BIMs to authorities.
- Proficient in Revit. Proficiency in alternative BIM applications is a plus.
- Needs to be adept at managing their time.
- Need to be able to work with little direction
- Need to be aware of the worksets and worksharing features of BIM and possess good observational skills.
- Needs to have a positive working attitude and be a team player.
