MODEC is looking for an FPSO Engineering Manager to be based with us here in Singapore.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with 20+ years of experience
- Experience in FPSO Engineering Mgmt for at least 1 FPSO
- Knowledge of interfaces between Topside & Marine Engineering, facilities/systems of FPSO and working of all process, mechanical, piping, structure, electrical & telecom, instrumentation & marine engineering.
- Familiar with the use of Software, Database systems related to Engineering functions
- Understanding and interpretation of total project life cycle cost and benefits as well as their implications during FEED and EPCI phases of projects.
- Adequate knowledge of design codes and regulator requirements within an EPCI project.
Accountabilities
- Engineering Management – Manage the engineering & design of both topside and marine facilities of an FPSO project
- Leadership – Provide leadership to the topsides and marine engineering team and be the single focal point both internally and externally for all issues related to FPSO engineering.
- Management of changes – Supervise implementation of engineering change management post design freeze are compiled with, communicated, tracked and approved by the relevant stakeholders
- People Management – Motive the team to perform, provide performance feedback, forecast and manage engineering resources on the project
- Compliance – Conduct internal engineering team meetings, lead engineering meetings with the client and other external agencies, prepare minutes of meetings, progress reports, participate in meetings with the client and communicate clearly.
- Engineering Resources – Lead in forecasting and mobilizing engineering and design resources for the over engineering team in the project
- Engineering Reviews – Ensure all applicable engineering reviews of the project for both topsides and marine are planned, conducted, and closed out in a timely manner.
- To be adequately familiar with the key activities and needs of all the engineering disciplines in Topsides and Marine Engineering, and how these activities interact and are sequenced, and their implications.
