Role Overview:
We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individual to join the global Trading team based in Singapore. This role enjoys a diverse mixture of responsibilities with a high level of interaction with portfolio managers, key stakeholders and multiple external counterparties.
The three main elements of the position include:
- Trading
- Equity Capital Markets
- Market analysis
Responsibilities:
- Trading across all asset classes in the Asia region - equities, derivatives, credit, OTC etc, and in all regional markets from Australia & NZ to India
- High level of interaction with portfolio managers and analysts, providing execution services, market analysis and colour
- With the regional Head of Trading, managing Equity Capital market activity and interactions, such as blocks, placings and IPOs.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the global trading and investment teams as well as other teams within the business, including operations, technology and compliance.
- Look for ways to improve the capability & efficiency of our proprietary trading systems
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Trader in either a buy side or sell side role
- This is a job for some one growing in their career. Minimum 3 years relevant trading experience, but no more than 10 years
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- English language is required, while Mandarin is preferred
