Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of analytical assays based on the optical imaging of functionalized nanospheres and their interactions with biological targets (including nucleic acids and proteins)
Synthesize and/or prepare the required assay materials
Test a wide range of assay conditions and sample types (potentially clinical samples)
Assist in identifying ideal assay targets based on literature/market/survey-based research
Collaborate with other IDMxS research clusters (Transduction, Analysis, and Translation) to package the optimized assays into a complete commercial product
Perform outreach and collaborate with industry and clinical partners
Perform literature reviews and stay up to date on developments in the field
Author regular reports and presentations to keep stakeholders updated on progress
Contribute to publications and patent applications
