The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. This project involves the modeling, design, fabrication and control of a soft gripper that can be used for manufacturing purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Modeling and designing the proposed soft gripper
Fabricate and eventually control the soft gripper
Conducting experiments to evaluate the soft gripper
Job Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Excellent communication skills, and also the ability to work independently.
Strong background in the areas of mechanical design, robotics, solid mechanics, or other relevant topics
