To support NTU Education 2025 and with a strong focus on developing NTU students with the 3 Cs in Competence, Character and Cognitive Agility, this role is critical as part of the Career & Attachment Office (CAO)’s strategy to develop NTU students into future-ready graduates.
This role is fundamentally a conduit to facilitate and develop students with essential and future-ready career and employability skills for a VUCA workplace.
Responsibilities
- Research and assess current and future learning needs of NTU students with different stakeholders (eg employers, industry professionals, Faculty, colleagues)
- Conceptualise and design new programmes
- Facilitate and conduct in-house career and employability skills workshops
- Source and collaborate with companies to provide skills training
- Source suitable career programmes and/or external training consultants
- Partner and provide training advisory and workshops to Colleges and Schools
- Evaluate training programmes’ and trainers’ effectiveness and relevance
- Develop career resources and training materials to support students’ learning
- Source and evaluate ed-tech tools/platforms for career programmes
- Support workshop administration (eg training schedule, vendor liaison, procurement, payment, logistic arrangements)
- Create publicity materials and monitor registrations
- Provide regular training statistics for reporting and strategic decision making
Requirements
- A recognized degree with at least 4 years’ experience in learning and development, curriculum design and planning, and/or course administration
- ACTA / ACLP / DACE from WSQ would be preferred
- Competent in content development and implementation with knowledge of various training methodologies
- Knowledgeable in learning strategies, pedagogies and ed-tech tools/platforms
- Knowledgeable and has a wide networking of contacts and resources in skills at least 3 of the following areas: Digital Literacy, Critical Thinking/Design Thinking, Communication, Leadership, Global & Cultural Awareness,
- Proficient in MS Office tools and in database software
- Experienced trainer with excellent presentation/facilitation skills and ability to engage young adults
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills
