Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation and Implementation of Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP)and Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Site QA/QC Audit.
- Responsible for establishing System Turn Over Packages and system handover documentation.
- Asses the implementation of the Quality Plan and Quality Control Plans on site
- Ensure the project QA/QC plan follows specifications and contract requirements
- Coordinate with quality inspections with all the site subcontractors and vendors and coordinate all non-destructive testing on-site.
- Review and prepare reports on Authority inspections.
- Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
- Verify the quality-related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
- Participate in the site's internal and external site audits
- Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors
- Prepare monthly quality management system, Project rate of rejection, welder performance test, and Non-conformance reports.
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in power plants construction projects
- Familiar with ASME CODE AND AWS D1.1 Code standards
- Knowledge of QC inspection standards and procedures
- Must be independent, meticulous and organised
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Strong commitment to safety
- Willing to work long hours and under site conditions
Project Location: Jurong Island (Transport will be provided at designated pick-up point)
