Job Description:
● Monitor the enforcement of In-house Rule and Regulation and ensure safe work practices and compliance on site
● Assist in organizing safety awareness activities such as toolbox meetings, all safety promotional activities, safety audits, safety meetings
● Assist in risk assessment job safety analysis, safety procedures/ checklists, safety records, and documentation
● Liaise with site operations staff and Construction Manager on all safety and health issues.
● Supervise all contractor’s workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
● Assist to investigate and report all site incidents/accidents & implement corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.
● Participate in the turnarounds SHE daily safety tours and Site surveys.
● Lead the team to participate in Safety Observations reporting in the Synergi system.
● Supervise multiple projects within the scope.
● Review contractor’s HSE plans, MS, TRAs and SWPs.
● Promote the concept that everyone has the right to stop the work if they feel it is unsafe.
● Advise HSE Manager or HSE lead, Project Manager and Construction Management Team of significant HSE issues in a timely manner.
● Closely follow up with contractors and stakeholders of any HSE investigation and reporting.
● Reporting and acting on project HSE-issues.
● HSE planning together with site personnel
● HSE training of team, contractor’s and customer’s personnel
● Participating in HAZOPs
● Contractor SHE audits
Requirements:
● Candidates must possess a Graduate Diploma or bachelor degree in Engineering (Environmental / Health / Safety) or equivalent.
● Familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Management System
● 10 years’ experience in writing and implementing HSE plans for Brownfield Construction Projects in Chemical / Oil Refineries.
● Able to interact with other stakeholders within the organizations.
● Able to deliver management HSE objectives and KPIs.
● Experience in plant turnarounds is mandatory.
● Experience working on the Owners / Clients Team is essential.
