Our client is a reputable automotive & mobility organisation in APAC regions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the business development and strategic planning for Connected and Mobility Services, encompassing tasks such as understanding distributors' needs, conducting market research, conceptualizing ideas, and crafting connected and mobility solutions along with business models.
- Create comprehensive project planning documents, establish schedules, identify key deliverables, manage budgets, and execute projects as the Business Project in Charge (PIC) in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Technical Team to translate system functional requirements into technical specifications for development.
- Act as the main point of contact (PIC) between the business, vendors, and the Technical Team to ensure the seamless integration of various sub-systems.
- • Handle day-to-day tasks and broader initiatives supporting the strategic direction and growth of the business.
- Assist in the rollout of Global/Regional technical solutions to the SEA region, collaborating with the Technical Team and stakeholders like distributors.
- Evaluate and suggest user requirements for connectivity devices, mobility platforms, or other technical solutions based on market and customer considerations.
- Serve as a liaison, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and transition.
- Manage project expectations, proactively escalating issues to management for timely corrective action.
- Support post-implementation activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of connected and mobility services in the SEA region.
- Demonstrate an understanding of technological trends, leveraging this knowledge to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
Qualification:
- Degree in Business or a related discipline.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in business development and planning.
- Additional advantage with experience in managing IT projects.
- Strong business acumen with excellent analytical skills.
- Proactive initiator with robust multitasking and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills (both written and spoken) with interpersonal proficiency across all levels of stakeholders.
- Meticulous, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Exhibits leadership qualities, a high sense of accountability, urgency, and drive.
- Capable of adopting a "think global, act local" approach.
- Takes initiative to enhance existing processes and is adaptable to embrace change.
- Willingness to travel to the SEA Region.
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and thriving in a dynamic, multicultural, and result-oriented environment.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to work overtime when required.
