Job Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, including setting sales targets, work with product teams on specifications in the Asia Pacific
- Sales Team Leadership: Build, lead and mentor the sales team to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Provide guidance, motivation, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds individual and collective sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including semiconductor manufacturers and semiconductor fabrication facilities. Understand clients' needs, concerns, and challenges, and offer tailored solutions to address their requirements.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in semiconductor equipment. Utilize market research and analysis to make informed decisions and drive sales performance.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, track sales performance, and generate regular reports to provide insights to senior management. Use data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Negotiation and Deal Closing: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements. Ensure that deals are aligned with company objectives and policies while maximizing profitability.
- Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products, generate leads, and build brand awareness.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve the sales process to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales management within the semiconductor equipment industry or related technology sectors. Minimum of 5 years of successful sales leadership experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the semiconductor equipment market, industry trends, and customer needs. Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is highly advantageous.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a sales team. Experience in coaching and developing sales professionals to achieve outstanding results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies aligned with company goals and market dynamics.
- Negotiation Skills: Adept at conducting negotiations and closing deals with customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
- Networking: Established network within the semiconductor equipment industry is a plus.
