Our client is from Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for a PLC Engineer to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.
Duties:
- Provide technical expertise and innovative solutions to support Production and ICEA teams.
- Regularly update stakeholders on the progress of PLC tasks aligned with site objectives.
- Maintain records of site shutdowns and production losses caused by PLC systems.
- Collaborate closely with Production teams to optimize PLC maintenance costs and enhance system performance.
- Develop comprehensive maintenance procedures for various plant equipment, including electrical, instruments, DCIS, F&G, ESD, metering, sampling, and analysis.
- Ensure compliance and certification of PLCs for safe use in hazardous areas.
- Offer maintenance support and troubleshoot PLC logic/hardware issues.
- Proactively manage PLC lifecycle to prevent obsolescence.
- Play a crucial role in emergency response, conduct feasibility studies, and ensure cybersecurity adherence in the OT environment.
Requirements:
- Min Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or any relevant field.
- Min 3 years of experience in PLC Siemens S7 maintenance / design in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical Industry.
