Technical Administrator

Modec Offshore Production Systems (singapore) Pte. Ltd.

Overall Job Purpose:


Provide Contract technical support to HOD Engineering and work closely with all the section leads and other engineers to support all technical aspects requirement in relations to Manning resources plan, Basic scheduling, Budget, Database maintenance & etc.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Edit and Proofread company documents, including engineering technical specification and Standards
  • Maintain and manage Engineering Database to ensure that the internal standards codes are up-to-date and sharing with the Section leads to ensure that all the Engineers are aware of the update
  • Coordinate and compile data to assist HOD Engineering in preparation of the Annual dept budget
  • Coordinate with Section leads to collect data to prepare for monthly dashboards update
  • Create and maintain document templates and fillable online forms
  • Coordinate with Section leads to validate against Annual budget for Manning Resources requirement for the various ongoing projects
  • Updating the Master Database and ensure that the technical aspects of the software procedures are up to date
  • Gather, analyze, compose, and translates technical information into logical, readable and understandable content
  • Additional responsibilities may be added to scope of work based on business need

  • Knowledge of FPSO business and has knowledge of doing Documentation process

  • Time management: Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resources requirements; determines necessary sequence of activities needed to achieve goals.
  • Technical skills: Possesses, acquires, and maintains the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create client/customer solutions. Technical/professional expertise is demonstrated through problem solving, mathematical skills, applying professional judgment, and competent performance.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tertiary Qualification in a related filed which is highly desirable

Relevant Experience:

  • Mandatory experiences in FPSO or EPCI companies with
  • Minimum experiences of 8 years providing Technical Support or relation to knowledge of Documentation Process & has worked on at least 4 FPSO projects understanding the documentation flow process and EPCI standard protocol.

Language(s) and Software:

  • Document Management Systems, Primavera P6 Essential Training, Python Programming, Data Analysis with Advanced Excel.

  • Attention to detail and capable using Microsoft office suite or other similar documents management system
  • Demonstrate ability to produce high quality work under pressure (e.g., with limited time or guidance)
