Primary Objectives of Position
- Maintain the Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS) and Depot BMS so as to ensure that the safety, reliability and availability of the systems meet the standards agreed with the Operation Department.
Major Responsibilities
- Ensure ISCS and Depot BMS operations are maintained without major interruption and availability of system is according to Performance Index.
- Maintain failure management and provide emergency response so that adhere to procedure.
- Conduct technical training and to ensure that staff are competently trained and certified to perform the servicing works.
- Review the material inventory and contracting works are cost effective.
- Ensure safety plans are implemented and all safety hazards are eliminated.
- Lead investigation into technical failures or recommending best technical solution to improve the system performance.
- Provide maintenance support to ISCS systems.
- Analyze and identify training needs
- Perform courseware development
- Perform course review and continuous improvement on course materials
- Draw up a training plan for every new staff
- Conduct training & assessment
- Conduct refreshers & drills
- Maintain training and assessment records
- Monitor and report staff training progress including refreshers & drills
- To develop software application to facilitate maintenance of ISCS/MMS/AFC/BMS.
- To generate and install software patch and releases to the LIVE system
- Maintain and enhance software applications
- Responsible for software design, coding, implementation, testing and documentation
- To investigate and resolve bugs and technical issues
- Train technical staff to be competent to perform servicing work.
- Review engineering design and lead investigation for technical failures or recommending best technical solution to improve the system performance
- Perform any Engineering work or tasks as being assigned by Manager

Job Specifications
Minimum Education / Qualifications
- Possess a bachelor's degree or Poly Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication Engineering.
Minimum Years of Relevant Experience
- Preferably at least 3 years of working experience in software development for Supervisory Control or System Engineering.
- Preferably at least 6 years of working experience in Supervisory Control or System Engineering for diploma holder.
Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge in Linux, HP-Unix Operating Systems, commands and scripts.
