Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in various business meetings to gather technical requirements, propose architectural designs, and review quotations/proposals from our vendors/partners
- Oversee the strategic direction and approach of programs spanning various projects and component activities, fostering stakeholder support for plans, commitments, and changes.
- Aid business stakeholders in breaking down intricate business requirements into Epics and User Stories, facilitating seamless delivery by Technology teams through respective backlogs with minimal cross-product coordination.
- Lead program delivery, governance, and reporting to stakeholders, including the Product owner in the business, the head of a service line, or Product within Technology.
- Champion the implementation of Agile methodologies within Technology teams (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean), aligning with corresponding transformation frameworks at the organization.
- Ensure the technology program aligns with overarching strategies and contributes to the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Monitor the adoption and adherence of all Technology practices and associated tools within the Programme.
- Effectively manage program budgets, encompassing headcount and capitalization of software delivery.
- Handle negotiations and management of third-party contracts with Technology suppliers, overseeing service agreement monitoring.
- Drive the development and promotion of the technology portfolio and project management practices.
- Take charge of reporting progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees, providing recommendations to influence decision-making and ensure continual progress towards delivery and benefits realization.
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, user experience designers, program managers, business and QA analysts, and senior business stakeholders on a daily basis.
- Facilitate coordination among internal and external teams, assess pre-integration tasks, and define the necessary collaboration required to navigate the roadmap.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Business Administration, or Social Sciences with a focus on psychology, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in large-scale technology migration and integration is highly desirable.
- In-depth understanding of General Insurance product manufacturing and distribution processes, spanning end-to-end technology knowledge.
- Proven experience in managing extensive programs within a global environment, showcasing a robust track record of successful business and IT delivery across global, regional, and local structures.
- Background in the Insurance and/or Financial Services Industry.
- Ability to assess processes and system use, emphasizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for progress tracking and change management.
- Proficient in developing collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capable of aligning programs with a clear vision to achieve business success.
