Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Operation Engineer to be part of a global communication team, involved in providing support from business-as-usual (BAU) operations as well as changes to global strategic projects to the traders in banking sector and giving them a superior end user experience.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering;
- Has at least 5 years proven experience in financial services preferably in trade floor;
- Experience working in banking environments or other highly regulated environments;
- Experience working with IPC Unigy, IP turrets, media gateways and NICE voice recorders;
- Experience in Windows Desktop, Window Server (2012, 2016, 2019);
- Experience in managing and responding to system audits;
- Knowledge on SIP technology;
- Knowlege on network, protocols and firewalls;
- Good understanding on operational security guidelines and risk management;
- Good understanding on security monitoring and vulnerability management;
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and adeptness in problem-solving.
Desired Skill-set
- Knowledge on SQL, IPC Uniqy and IMR voice recording.
Responsibilities
- Part of the global communication team, involved in providing support from day-today operations;
- Provide project support for enhancement or changes to global strategic projects for traders in the dealing rooms;
- Responsible to support the voice recording, hoot & intercom and the integration of communication-enabled business workflow applications;
- Manage and respond quickly to incidents, investigate & provide resolution;
- Support and troubleshoot issues with trading applications & interfaces, either locally or through 3rd party service providers;
- Liaise with third party vendors for any issues or escalate the issue to the next level;
- Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.
