Job Description
- Oversee various facets of general accounting, encompassing Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Accounting, Fixed Assets Accounting, and Intercompany Accounting for the larger Singapore entity.
- Ensure precise Tax and GST reporting and strict adherence to regulatory mandates.
- Analyze Profit and Loss statements, craft monthly and quarterly financial projections, formulate Annual Operation Plans, and diligently monitor and scrutinize Actual expenses versus Forecasts.
- Maintain the integrity of internal control procedures and proactively address any identified internal control deficiencies.
- Lead the monthly financial closing process and coordinate the generation of comprehensive financial and managerial reports.
- Monitor operational expenses and identify opportunities for improvement to meet annual plan targets.
- Work closely with the organization's shared service center in other parts of the world.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or any related degree.
- Minimum of ten years of experience within Finance & Accounting Positions, of which 5 years should be in a leadership capacity.
Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership capacity within a manufacturing organization. - Profound understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to decipher intricate financial data and trends.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal aptitude, with a history of effectively guiding and nurturing finance teams.
- Outstanding communication skills, both in written and verbal forms, for effective interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving prowess, with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in SAP is a must.
- CA / CPA qualifications are highly beneficial.
