Position: Electro-Mechanical Engineer - Sensor Packaging

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electro-Mechanical Engineer with specialized experience in packaging sensors and electronic components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing hardware for product changes and new development, along with proficiency in engineering calculations, testing, and validation. Experience with high-pressure, high-temperature seals for oil and gas applications is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Sensor and Electronic Component Packaging:
- Develop packaging solutions for sensors and electronic components, considering factors such as size, weight, and environmental conditions.
- Ensure the reliability and functionality of packaged components in various applications.
2. Functional Specifications:
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop functional specifications.
- Use engineering tools to design hardware that meets the specified requirements.
3. Component Specifications:
- Assist in preparing detailed component specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Document designs following established work processes and contribute to design reviews.
4. Engineering Calculations:
- Perform engineering calculations to validate designs and ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
- Analyze and interpret results, making necessary adjustments to enhance product functionality.
5. Testing and Validation:
- Design and execute test procedures to validate hardware designs.
- Evaluate test results and collaborate with teams to implement improvements based on findings.
6. High-Pressure, High-Temperature Seals:
- Apply expertise in the design and validation of high-pressure, high-temperature seals, particularly for oil and gas applications.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus.
- 3-10 years of experience in electro-mechanical engineering, with a focus on sensor and electronic component packaging.
- Proficient in engineering tools and CAD software for design purposes.
- Experience with high-pressure, high-temperature seal design and validation for oil and gas applications is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
