Job Description
This person will report to the Group Financial Controller and Group Tax Senior Manager.
Treasury Responsibilities:
- Supervise and generate cash forecasting reports on a weekly and monthly basis, collaborating with regional finance teams for necessary inputs.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash forecasting, ensuring accuracy.
- Coordinate with third-party providers such as banks in the FX hedging process, providing back-office support for FX deal confirmation and recording hedge accounting requirements.
- Assist in external debt administrative matters and comply with lender's requirements.
- Populate the month-end template for the posting of accounting journals related to treasury transactions.
Ad-hoc Projects:
- Monitor and manage the progress of work with external advisors to meet internal timelines effectively.
- Contribute to the preparation of internal reports as needed.
The Successful Applicant
- CA/ CPA qualified or studying
- Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Word) - Advanced, required.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Project management skills and experience of implementing projects would be helpful to support in current project management duties.
- Basic knowledge of cash forecasting, FX trading requirements required.
- Basic understanding of corporate taxes (VAT/GST, international, corporate and transfer pricing).
- Ability to come up with solutions, lead change, seek continuous process improvement - with an approach that takes due consideration of the ability of teams to absorb change
- Ability to navigate through complex situations and matrix organisation structure, to deliver results amongst different stakeholders.
