Responsibilities
- Facilitate the setup and configuration of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) backend for Proof of Concept (PoC), Demos, and Internal Testing.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and administration for the VDI environment.
- Manage the Canonical snap store, including technical support, updates, configurations, and account creation.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in VMware, Citrix, and Azure.
- Deliver training to users as needed during deployment processes.
- Respond to incidents and alerts promptly.
- Collaborate closely with the product development and test team, sales and marketing team, and external customers involved in PoC/PoV.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Possess an understanding of VDI with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the administration of at least one VDI environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot potential VDI support scenarios.
- Have experience in Windows Desktop administration.
- Exhibit expertise in application deployment and virtualization.
- Familiarity with security standards, best practices, and principles.
- Have practical experience in end-user support.
- Possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
