Job Highlights:

  • Basic up to $3000 + $100 Transport Allowance + AWS + VB
  • Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm, Saturday: 8.30am to 12.30pm
  • The office is located at Kallang Way
  • Weekday shuttle service available to/from Aljunied & Potong Pasir MRT
  • Hybrid working environment; 1 - 2 days WFH and usually Saturday shift is also remote
  • Full training will be provided
  • Our client is a global leader in third-party logistics that specializes in delivering and managing transportation and supply chain solutions for both national and multinational corporations

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders in day-to-day business operations
  • Manage customer orders, including related documentation, and coordinate transport bookings with carriers based on specified routing and service levels
  • Monitor the execution of transport activities to ensure compliance with established work standards and instructions
  • Handle customer requests and address incidents or disruptions in the supply chain promptly inform supervisors and relevant stakeholders of any issues that arise
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates on tracking events (milestones) by suppliers and carriers
  • Investigate data inconsistencies and follow up on missing events
  • Contribute input to supervisors for reporting, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews
  • Support the analysis of standard KPIs and reports, identifying and suggesting areas for improvement
  • Assist in the on-boarding process for new suppliers to ensure compliance with global order, event, and SOP requirements
  • Adhere to all relevant SOPs, work instructions, and job-specific procedures
  • Support the implementation of changes to processes or policies as directed by process owners
  • Act as a backup for supervisors in case of their absence
  • Facilitate the on-boarding, training, and guidance of new staff during their initial period
  • Assist supervisors in updating and revising work instructions and provide feedback on best practices
  • Continuously on-board and train suppliers on SOPs and system usage

Job Requirements:

  • Willing to be rostered for weekends / Public Holidays coverage (Time-Off / OT / Allowance will be given in place of such arrangements)
  • Customer service experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry, preferably sea freight
  • Fresh graduates in relevant business/supply chain courses will be considered
