HSE Supervisor is responsible to ensure the adequate applicability of Safety, Health and Environment procedures for the Project. He/ She report to the HSE Manager.
Roles and responsibilities of HSE Supervisor are:
- Assist the Site HSE Manager in any duty He/She shall perform.
- To prepare and implement a vigilant Site and control procedure.
- Attend Subcontractor kick-off Meeting
- Prepare the layout for these sites and clearly indicate all underground systems such as the electrical network.
- Prepare the layout that clearly indicates an arrangement of the fire fighting equipment.
- Attend periodical or special HSE meetings as required.
- Assist in the performance of risk assessment.
- Inspect all equipment before entering the site and provide agreement to its documents and certificates (safety & security requirements).
- Participate in HSE scheduled work area audits or inspections and ensure the implementation and document required corrective actions.
- Check and give agreement to all HSE equipment before its use (i.e. lifting equipment, scaffolds).
- Ensure that personal protection equipment is suitable for the use for which it is intended.
- Distribute to Subcontractor the standards, procedures or any other documentation that may be required to organize the work safely.
- Carry out inspections to ensure compliance with Subcontractor Site HSE Plan, Construction HSE Plan, Client requirements and national and local regulations.
- Prepare periodic Safety Reports, such as Monthly HSE Report, ensuring their distribution in a timely manner.
- Ensure that workers' welfare is maintained
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years site supervision experience in Oil and Gas projects
- Possess Nebosh Preferred
- Relevant trainings and certificates
