Main Responsibilities
- Perform spare parts marketing & selling function
- Market parts pricing analysis
- Quotes and provide estimates for repairs & spare parts for customers
- Pursue parts and service opportunities service opportunities for regular customer visits and prospect
- Develop customer profile database
- Develop, identify and quantify new customers, and maintain customer
- relationship
- Develop, promote and sell - service marketing programs, maintenance services and repair contracts, inspection and appraisal programs, major component rebuild programs, replacement–before failure programs, oil sampling programs, shop cost analysis, engine and transmission testing services, machine tune-ups etc
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Preferred degree OR diploma in mechanical OR electrical field
- Minimum of 3 years experience related to parts or service operation, preferably from construction equipment dealership or in aftermarket parts industry
- Commercially and business focus, target driven and “self-going” initiator skills
- Strong in sales techniques, customer orientation and marketing understanding
- Strong local language & English, with a versatile, competitive and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent computer skills eg Power Point and Excel
- Good understanding of financial and pricing principles and discounting effects
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
