- Capable of receiving, following instructions and communicating with designers, architects and builders
- On site measurements for fabrications and productions
- Capable of going thru design and constructions with designers, architects and builders
- Able to delegate jobs to the production team and ensure fabrications deadline is met
- Able to read and understand construction drawings, sketches and determine dimensions and calculate materials required.
- Ability to comprehend construction drawings, sketches
- Attentive to details and always alert to ensure safety
- Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings and guidelines
- Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Ad-hoc jobs when requested
Carpentry Factory Manager Qualifications or skills
- Off site fabrication of cabinets or wood- related materials.
- On site installation of cabinets
- Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors or other wooden fixtures using woodworking machines or power hand tools
- Well versed in general tools and machinery such as plane-saw, precision table saws.
- Able to cut shapes on materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines or power saws
