Main duties
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Be an SME in Aladdin project squad.
- Drive acceptance testing phase with end users, testers, and relevant product teams
- Handle end user queries related to platform functionality.
- Work closely with IT stakeholders to track platform related incidents and defects to timely and permanent closure.
- Coordinate and validate system requirements gathering and user acceptance testing activities.
- Conduct regular platform training and onsite guidance to end users.
- Liaise with business process owners to align processes with platform
Work experience requirements
- In depth knowledge of Aladdin Wealth / Enterprise system (Blackrock)
- Sound understanding and articulation of Discretionary Portfolio Management business products, processes, and best practices.
- Strong advocate for operational efficiency and enhanced end user experience
- Sound understanding and articulation of Wealth Management business products, processes, and best practises.
- Ability to prioritize, work well under pressure, work well independently and be a team player.
- Demonstrable ability to engage closely and confidently with business and IT stakeholders of all levels.
