Assistant Mechanical Engineer
$2500 – $2800
5-day work week. Mondays to Fridays: 8:30am to 6pm
Office: Pandan Road Singapore 609259
Transport: We have company bus departing near Clementi MRT station at 8.10am to bring staff to our office and a return company bus trip back to Clementi in the evening.
Job scope:
- Produce 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD for fabrication and submission to client
- Produce 3D drawings for presentations
- Purchasing of materials
- Coordinate, schedule and supervise work assignments together with workshop supervisor
- Answer queries from salesperson and to provide quotations
- Supervise and conduct load test for the assigned equipment
- Prepare cost estimation
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers and inter-department personnel
- Submission of final costing to Finance Department
- Control & record assets movement
- Update asset master list
- Dispose / transfer of asset
- Prepare & maintain documentation
- Assist in audit
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
- Working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD or 3D solidworks is an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office
