Job Description:
Warehouse Operation:
- Execute the receipt and issuance of raw materials, intermediate, finished goods, and packaging materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Organize the storage of materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Perform loading and shipment for both regular and ad-hoc shipments adhering to SOPs.
- Prepare comprehensive shipment documentation and ensure completeness.
- Conduct sampling and subdivision of materials for incoming items and internal reprocessing.
- Accurately and promptly execute transactions in the SAP system for inbound, internal movement, and outbound processes.
- Conduct cycle counting, investigate discrepancies, and take corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Tank farm team for solvent/raw material deliveries via iso-tankers.
- Collaborate with external vendors and operations teams for proper disposal of solid and liquid waste.
- Work with Engineering to ensure proper functioning and timely maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
- Actively participate in Process Centric Team (PCT) activities to drive continuous improvement goals.
Safety and Compliance in Warehouse and Logistics:
- Maintain good housekeeping in the main warehouse, drum store, and sampling room according to cGMP standards.
- Ensure compliance with data integrity practices for all data entry and recording.
- Perform daily checks and maintenance of material handling equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Follow SOPs and risk assessments to achieve zero safety incidents.
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations consistently.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and above
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in documenting inventory movements.
- Advanced knowledge of Information Management practices and working knowledge of partner disciplines.
- Ability to comprehend and respond to verbal and written instructions/documents.
- Operation skills for various motorized forklifts.
- Proactive with effective communication skills across shifts.
- Advanced proficiency in electronic and computer skills, including Excel, Word, Microsoft Dynamics, Visio, SharePoint.
