Key Responsibilities:
Effective Workload Management:
- Manage workload efficiently to provide timely and accurate support to lawyers.
Calendar Management and Meeting Support:
- Assist lawyers in calendar management.
- Organize internal/external meetings and handle travel arrangements and expenses claims.
Matter Project Administration:
- Administer matter projects, including matter opening, time recording, filing, bill preparation, bill narrations, and archiving.
Legal Document Preparation:
- Prepare legal documents and court bundles.
E-Litigation and Searches:
- Assist with e-litigation, including court filings and calendar management.
- Conduct searches (ACRA, etc.).
General Secretarial Tasks:
- Undertake various secretarial administrative tasks such as typing, filing, printing, scanning, etc.
Requirements:
- Preferably with legal secretarial or paralegal experience in the last 3 years, supporting legal teams specializing in complex international disputes.
- Experience in using e-litigation tools like CoreMatter and NetDocuments is preferred; training will be provided if necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous, responsible, proactive, and a team player.
