Our Singapore office is currently hiring a Lead Project Development Engineer to join our Energy team. Main duties:
- Manage the delivery of study phases of key projects, which requires leading the interface with local and regional delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight functions on large, strategic consulting projects.
- Apply industry experience; manage a portfolio of projects which have complex features with respect to their content and/or need for integration; interface positively with our Jacobs virtual team groups.
- Mentor and support the development of staff working in the Future &Transition Fuels team.
- Keep abreast of new methods and developments impacting Jacobs, track and contribute to industry developments, trends, both technical and market, to recommend changes as required.
- Work together with commercial, project management and technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver, and operate a range of projects in the Future and Transitions Fuels markets.
To be a successful candidate you shall possess:
- Minimum Degree in Chemical/Hydrocarbon Engineering
- 15 to 20 years of experience which includes driving low carbon/green fuels (LNG & hydrogen at its derivatives) and carbon capture technologies, covering all project phases from concept to execution.
- Experience working in different geographies/cultures.
- Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS, Pipenet, Flaresim, AFT Fathom.
