Description:
- Manage Front Desk duties with customer service mindset meeting the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting
- Answer phone calls, attend to walk-in visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information
- Maintain customer related information when required, eg phone log.
- Communicate with teachers regarding parents’ feedback/ messages from phone calls or walk-in parents
- Handle daily varied demands and queries from parents/students/ vendors/saff etc
- Render first level assistance to walk-in students’ needs including sick and injured students. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases
- Handle/support situation when students’ vomit, soiled their clothes
- Assist student in times of need, eg lost & found items, change of uniform, locating teacher/classroom/parent
- Attend to students leaving school early
- Assist in the dissemination of information: school circulars, parents’ messages
- Maintain the forms in the reception trays to ensure forms are current and replenished timely
- Assist in Primary One registration such as making photocopies of documents; calling parents to submit forms etc
- Support any other general admin duties as and when required.
Requirement:
- Minimum GCE “N” level
- Preferably has 2 years of relevant work experience, with an added advantage if the experience is within a school environment.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills
