A Marine Insurance Executive Assistant will strive to assist with the daily tasks of claims processing:
· Receiving, recording and processing all incoming insurance claims.
· Data entry of all new claims reported.
· Connecting of daily emails into claims files for Handler’s review and action.
· Preparation of claim files for handlers review and action.
· Liaising with Brokers, shipowners or surveyors on all claims related matters as and when instructed or required.
· Processing of payments in system.
· Filing and housekeeping.
· Review and connecting claims statistics.
· All other related tasks assigned as and when required.
Relevant experience in handling Marine Hull claims or insurance knowledge is preferred. Training will be provided for those with no related experience.
