Duration: 6 months (Convertible to Perm)
Location: Alexandra Road
Working Hour: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 6pm
The Role
- Facilitate, prepare and check monthly payroll, overtime, commissions, incentives, allowances and deductions for all staff
- Support People Ops for joiners/leavers/staff movements for payroll related matters. Compute and check new hires and leavers' payroll
- Conduct payroll checking and internal controls through data validation and monitoring / tracking payments
- Generate/prepare all monthly and month-end payroll reporting such as employee payroll reports; variance reports etc.
- Responsible for statutory payment submission, such as CPF, IR8A, IR21 and NS made-up claims
- Prepare tax return (IR21) and handle tax clearance matters (tax directives) for foreign employees leaving the company
- Process yearly Auto-Inclusion Scheme for Employment Income to IRAS
- Provide support for audit season on payroll matters
- Provide support to respective departments on all payroll related matters
- Participate in enhancement of payroll related work processes.
- Prepare payment vouchers for split-payroll arrangement and validate payments for secondees and overseas-based employees
- Ensure upkeep of Payroll documentation for proper storage and retrieval of records (cloud-based portal).
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business, Finance, Human Resources or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on working experience in Payroll administration
- Proficient in MS Office, is meticulous with numbers and details oriented
- Digitally inclined and comfortable with working entirely on cloud-based enterprise solutions
- Strong teammate; must be able to play a supporting role to Recruiters in a highly competitive talent war
- Focused and committed to do your best and high level of attention to details and accuracy
- Understands and strikes a balance between being an individual and a team member
