Established in 1952, the Red Cross Home for the Disabled is a residential home for those with multiple disabilities. It also operates a Day Activity Centre providing day care services.
What We Do:
With a team of dedicated nursing professionals, therapy and healthcare aides, physiotherapists as well as occupational and speech therapists, we provide quality care to those who are unable to care for themselves due to their disabilities.

We focus on enhancing the physical, mental, social and emotional well-being of more than 100 residents - adults and children.

About The Role
A Therapy Associate is responsible for helping clients to restore and maintain functional status through assessments and individualised treatments under the supervision/ instruction of a therapist. S/He works in a multidisciplinary team to ensure a high standard of clinical practice and professional conduct in all areas of client care. S/He may participate in quality improvement projects, provide training to other therapy support staff and assist therapist in administrative tasks.
S/He should have initiative and be sensitive to the needs of her/his clients. S/He may also work as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team which may include physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, social workers, training officers and other healthcare professionals.
· Conduct client assessment and therapy planning
· Perform therapy interventions and client education
· Manage risk and quality
· Assist therapist in clinical administration and operations
· Participate in continuing education and research activities
· Supervise therapy aides in their therapy activities
· Conduct transfer and physiotherapy related trainings to clinical staff
Education and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy
Advantage for those with experience working with persons with autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
Advantage for those with 4 to 6 years of experience
Advantage for those who have experience in Senior Care Centres/Active Aging Hubs
