Quality Products And Superior Customer Service
- Provide quality and fresh products as per Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP)
- Prepare products according to Standard Operating Procedures. (SOP)
- Present menu, promote café’s specials, take & serve orders
- Attend and respond to guests needs promptly, pleasantly & professionally. Check regularly for additional orders or requests.
- Prepare various drinks/beverages according to Company SOP without supervision
- Up-sell seasonal offers or encourage guests to place additional orders.
- Resolve customer’s complaints and conduct service recovery. Submit incident report.
- Authorised to do service recovery by giving discounts or complimentary cakes or drinks when necessary.
Clean & Comfortable Environment
- Promptly remove cutleries and dishes when guests have finished the course.
- Clear & wipe table, adjust chairs, re-set table. To perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure cleanliness at all time.
Daily Operational tasks
- Conduct appropriate briefing to team on current promotions and target of the day.
- Ensure all preparation and service sequence in accordance to SOP.
- Handle daily incoming stock and perform checks to ensure no discrepancy.
- Check daily stocks level and ordering.
- Responsible for inter-store stocks transfer.
- Handle and update stock inventory on a daily basis.
- Responsible for month end stock count.
- Handle repair and maintenance report and coordinate with relevant support centre team member on any maintenance issues.
- Ensure product display are up to expectations and standards.
- Handling general paperwork which include petty cash claim, part-time payroll, overtime claims and sales reports.
- Authorised to issue warning letters to team members for diciplinary issues.
- Propose promotion for staffs’ career progression.
- Overall responsible in achieving the monthly sales target set for the store
- Set Par-level for store.
- Conduct interview for walk in candidates (Part-timers to Shift Manager.)
- Plan weekly roster based on labour matrix.
- Provide suggestions for LSM and to increase store revenue.
Supervision & Training of staff
- Manage staff and provide them with relevant information and feedback.
- Train new team members (CSA, Supervisor, Shift Manager & Assistant Store Manager) according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Assign daily duties to team members.
- Authorised to arrange relief staff to other stores should the need arise.
- Conduct annual appraisal for store team members.
P&L Accountabiltiy
· Responsible in meeting the daily sales target through upselling.
- Play a part in minimizing expenses such as utilities, printing & usage of stationery, repair and maintenance.
- Responsible in reducing food and drinks wastage by repeating orders and through proper handling.
- Responsible for direct costs. To ensure that they placed the orders correctly and according to par level.
- Responsible for salaries and related expenses by planning team members’ roster effectively to reduce labour costs.
- Monitor team member’s transport expenses.
- Manage and control petty cash expenses.
Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
