What you will do:
As Green Building Engineer, you will:
- Secure Energy Consultancy and Green Mark salesas per forecast with the specified minimum margin requirement.
- Provide professional consultancy services and coordinate with authority for the Green Mark certification and project development.
- Work closely with Services Sales and Operation Team for the development of energy retrofit proposal.
- Coordinate with Instrumentation team and subcontractor for the energy audit and measurement on site.
How you will do it:
- Work with owner to influence specifications and promote Johnson Controls energy efficiency capabilities.
- Conduct energy audit and analyze building energy consumption to determine level of potential for saving energy and prepare energy saving proposals for the Green Mark building.
- Identify & make recommendations for energy conservation measures and propose comprehensive technical energy improvements and services.
- Maintain existing customers and continue to develop new customers.
- Conduct market survey, make marketing and sales presentation to owners as required. Coordinate with the Service Department for maximum results.
- Provide Green Mark Consultancy to customer. This will include to identify the gap/shortfalls and provide recommendations to customer so as the building is able to meet the prevailing BCA Green Mark requirements.
- To satisfy customers and maintain a high level of consultancy service quality for customers.
- Secure orders, write out plan margin and work with operations team for commitment.
- Maintain a record of all jobs tendered or quoted. Furnish the weekly updated list to respective manager.
- Provide weekly activities report to the Green Building Manager as and when requested.
- Plan and strategize energy efficiency service marketing and sales and work closely with Retrofit sales and Service Operation teams.
- Provide consultancy services and assessment with client and authority to achieve Green Mark certification.
- Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior or management.
What we look for:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering/Energy/Building Service related or equivalent. GMM, GMP or SCEM certification is a plus,
- Fresh graduate is welcomed to apply. However, preferably to have at least minimum 1 year of working experience related to building Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), Green Mark or Energy projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office, Energy Modeling software a plus
- Experience & knowledge in building mechanical & electrical (M&E) design or project is a plus.
- Experience in working with customers, consultants, sub-contractors.
- Ability to work irregular hours and under pressure when required.
- Team player, effective communicator, able to build customer relationship and customer satisfaction.
- Able to work independently and have a strong sense of responsibility.
