Summary
Directs the establishment and maintenance of corporate accounting principles, practices and procedures for the maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports. Develops and maintains planning and budgeting systems. Analyzes and interprets trends and operating results in terms of costs, budgets policies and profit opportunities.
Key accountabilities
- Perform ad hoc standard cost roll and cycle count posting in system for Singapore.
- Provide and analyze monthly expense reports to support operations.
- Provide in-depth variance analysis including purchase price variance, production variance and MFG variance.
- Arrange inventory physical counts to ensure the validity and accuracy of assets.
- Ensure timely and accurate month- end closing and reporting including journal entries, accounting schedules, balance sheet reconciliation.
- Manage full spectrum of fixed asset activities.
- Responsible for fixed asset report to ensure all assets are accountable.
- Support external tax and audit.
- Support Annually Operating Plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in finance or accounting.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in MNC environment with exposure to costing.
- In-depth knowledge at standard costing system and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of MS-office, SAP knowledge is must.
- Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Good team player with a positive attitude.
