You will be part of the Infrastructure Cloud Management Team responsible for managing RWS cloud to ensure high standards of performance as well as security and availability.
- Support the introduction, further development, and operation of cloud platform (s).
- Performing system administration tasks including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support while innovating to automate as much as possible
- Provide design, consultation, and advice on cloud matters.
- Constantly exploring new technology to better support business.
- Provide platform operation support such as:
o Azure, Alibaba, AWS and cloud related component
o Processing of service and change request
o Handling of incidents and resolve any issues related to cloud
o Performance tuning and operation automation
o Monitoring and capacity planning
o Monitor overall performance, reliability, availability, latency, and security of systems
o Managing cloud environments in accordance with security guidelines
o Management cloud backup & disaster recovery.
- Management of cloud related procurement & contracts.
- Introduce Infra-as-Code (IaC) and automation of work process to enhance operation efficiency.
- Work on cloud related budget and workplan.
- Management of cloud related contract and vendor.
- Create and maintain up-to-date cloud design and operation documentation.
- Work on any other responsibilities/tasks as assigned by the management.
- Collaborating with solutions architects.
- Participate in the development of optimized deployment scripts and methods.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary education in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration of cloud design and maintenance support.
- Experience in cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure Cloud Platform), Interconnects, ExpressRoute, S3, EC2, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPC Peering, VPN, DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls.
- Clear understanding of network technologies (WAN, LAN, network security, wireless). In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols and data center network architecture and services.
- Experience in Terraform, Gitlab, Jenkins implementation and operation maintenance.
- Experienced in scripting to automate tasks including regular maintenance jobs.
- Support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC into CI/CD pipeline builds.
- Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Extensive understanding of Infrastructure as Code, application design, software development, and testing.
- Implementation of cloud technologies in Azure and an understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
- Demonstrated ability to develop automation solutions to deliver business value in a practical, effective way.
- Experience in project management/implementation, and vendor management.
- Ability to work in a team as well as work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Open to working on rotating shifts.
- Certification in Azure / AWS / Alibaba Cloud
