Position Summary / Project Description:
Our client is a prominent healthtech company seeks a versatile and adaptable individual to join their ranks. This newly created role will be responsible for managing and maintaining our financial systems and ensuring accurate data and business logic for financial transactions. This involves analyzing financial data, troubleshooting system issues, and driving process improvement.
In addition, this role will lead the implementation of change across Finance related systems (including but not limited to the SAP ERP system; it includes the front-end system such as ServiceNow, new billing portal) and support initiatives transitioning to the new systems landscape.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial System Management & Compliance
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, databases, and related tools.
- Drive implementation of system enhancements, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption to financial processes and working closely with Corporate IT and internal Finance teams
- Exploration and implementation of new system implementation (S4 Hana); that includes coordinating and reviewing new requirements and change requests
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
Financial Data Standardisation & Process Improvement
- Analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, with an objective to drive standardization
- Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and improving system efficiency.
- Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent logic used for utility tool
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial controls.
System Support and Troubleshooting
- Collaborate with Corporate IT department to troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience driving systems implementation, process re-design and change management for Finance or similar role, preferably in medium to large organizations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as SAP ERP systems and MS Office.
- Experience in dashboarding tool and other data analysis programs would be a plus
