Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Meeting prospects to gather requirements for design proposal
- Conceptualization and pitching of design concepts to clients
- Presentation of design proposals and quotation
- Preparation of working plans and project schedule
- Project management and site coordination ensuring smooth workflow and timely progress
- Communicating effectively with client, vendors and relevant authorities in meeting project outline
- Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
- Attend site visits independently and respond to any issues.
- Review progress on site and ultimately be responsible for design quality and experience
- Prepare design and feasibility reports and presentation
Job Criteria:
- Degree in Interior Design
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in interior design
- Working after office hours might be required, depending on the project
- Excellent communication skill(s) including both written and oral (to be able to communicate efficiently with clients, consultants and contractors to produce concept design, space planning and presentation)
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
