Responsibilities
● Develop web applications using ASP.Net and ReactJS, following the development standards and technical design provided.
● Develop iOS and Android native mobile applications using ReactNative, integrating to back-end REST API and web services.
● Design and develop database tables using Entity Framework.
● Write unit tests with good test coverage.
● Write deployment scripts or CICD pipeline for automated deployment.
● Perform System Integration Tests.
● Optimise application codes to ensure relevancy of the frameworks used and to meet application performance criteria.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as team members, Product Owner, Project Managers, Quality Assurance team and IT Ops in releasing product updates.
● Collaborate with another product teams to ensure consistent design and integrated solution.
Requirements
● Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, equivalent field of study, or work experiences in the web application development domain.
● Released mobile applications to iOS and Android App stores.
● Good understanding of ASP.Net, .Net Core, ReactJS, ReactNative, Entity Framework and relevant web & mobile application development framework and libraries.
● Good understanding of frontend development using JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap and relevant web frameworks or libraries.
● Good understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guideline, Google’s Material Design Guidelines, XCode, Android Studio, and other mobile development frameworks and libraries
● Basic understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, REST API, web services and/or microservices development.
● Good understanding of unit testing and able to consistently produce high code coverage unit tests.
● Good understanding on DevOps automated CICD pipeline and application infrastructure will be an advantage.
● Good database knowledge on SQL Server or PostgreSQL, such as database normalization and indexing. Understanding of database optimisation will be an advantage.
● Basic understanding of application infrastructure or AWS Platform will be an advantage.
● Basic understanding of Agile methodologies.
● Quality driven mindset.
● Strong collaborative and communication skills.
● Quick learner, willingness to adapt working between legacy and next generation technology when needed.
● Fluent in written and speaking in English.
