Responsible for all aspects of the central kitchen & logistics operations:
· Overseas all aspects of the central kitchen & logistics operations.
· Monitors central kitchen & logistics operations to ensure cost-effective, reliable, waste control and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
· Develops and implements strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively, improve efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
· Heads the central kitchen & logistics departments by ensuring all subordinates are in line and performing according to the departments’ mandate and SOPs, including but not limited to food safety and hygiene.
· Manages suppliers, customers (internal & external) & cross department relationships (e.g. Quality Assurance, Procurement, all local and overseas outlets, etc).
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and planning of materials and products.
· Monitors the performance of suppliers and vendors and take corrective action when necessary.
· Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
· Ensures timely and correct communication to suppliers, external and internal customers to facilitate timely delivery.
· Supervises staff to ensure product specifications, expectations, high-quality products, operations and service provision are reached.
· Responsible to manage, monitor and analyze inventory levels, inventory movement, cost, production, delivery and quality and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
· Identify areas of improvement for central kitchen and logistics operations
· Manage, monitor and appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity. Work closely with direct superior to achieve objectives and results
Requirements:
· Degree in supply chain/management/production or related field.
· Proven experience and at least 5 years’ experience in similar role.
· High level of organizational, problem-solving, communication (verbal & written), conflict management skills.
· Business management and development experience.
· Knowledge of all aspects of central kitchen and logistics operations, including but not limited to planning, scheduling, forecasting, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
· Able to work well with internal & external stakeholders.
· Meticulous and has a high level of attention to detail.
· Self-driven & self-starter.
· Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Possess leadership abilities and able to effectively manage and motivate staff.
· Must have knowledge of the SAP system
