Job Description:
● Work closely with the vendors and installation contractors to ensure that the electrical & instrumentation and automation is executed to the agreed functionality, schedule and budget.
● Coordinate with the engineering, operation and maintenance team to ensure the projects are according to the required electrical & instrumentation and automation requirement.
● Creates and maintains various project documents like electrical wiring diagrams, drawings, procedures, standards, specifications.
● Review contractor’s Method of Statement, TRA, Quality Plan and ITPs.
● Supervisor the execute the following activities, SIL, Functional, Continuity, Loop and other testing required by the Project
● Plan and supervisor contractor’s electrical & instrumentation and automation activities.
● Endorse permits and ensure contractor’s compliances of HSE requirements.
● Participation in HSE daily safety observation and reporting to synergi system
● Able to manage and complete contractor’s documentation requirements
● Able to supervise multiple projects.
● Monitoring the progress, quality and cost of dismantling and installation work.
● Monitoring the compliance permit to work (PTW) requirements and participating in official inspections.
● Arranging and chairing work type specific site meetings.
● Partial hand-overs to client.
● Reporting on progress, costs and possible risk factors.
● Notification of defects on delivery and during installation.
● Responsibility for transferring "as built" information to designers (If required).
● Ending of the site operations, end reporting and ensuring warranty inspections.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent by experience.
● At least10 years’ experience working as an electrical & instrument engineer in process plants
● Must have experience in specifying Instruments.
● Experience in Turnaround projects is a must.
● Strong focus on project delivery skills, ability to recognize opportunities and respond to client needs, to network easily with a variety of stakeholders.
● Strong self-leadership skills, hands-on mentality and desire to grow and further develop in your role.
● Should have good skills in spoken and written English.
● Understanding of the challenges and complexities of a project organization (EPCM)
● Experience in design and maintenance tasks is considered an asset
● Good knowledge of International Codes and Standards is an advantage.
● Must have valid training certificates required per MOM Safety Regulations
● Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications
● Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate to people of all levels
● You will report to the Construction Manager, but you are expected to work very independently, collaborating closely and networking easily with the project organization in other Client's locations as well.
