Job Description
- Establish rapport with residents through active listening and engagement using verbal and non-verbal communication in a non-judgmental manner.
- Provide daily engagements and companionship to residents who are at higher risk of isolation due to residents’ inability to participate in group activities.
- Carry out meaningful and enjoyable activities for residents, taking into consideration their individual wishes and preferences.
- Provide timely documentation on the engagements and observations.
- Highlight residents’ concerns to the Medical Social Worker (MSW), where necessary.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- NITEC in Community Care & Social Services / ITE / GCE ‘O’ Levels
- Able to communicate with seniors
- Love working with seniors
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- On the job training will be provided
