Reports to: ASEAN and India Sales and Marketing Group Divisional General Manager and Human Resource Division General Manager
Functional Relationships with:
ASEAN and India sales office’s Office head and HR and Head Quarters HR in Japan
Position Profile:
The Regional Human Resource Assistant Manager (Regional HR AM) is responsible to support the General Manager and Sales office’s head for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization in Singapore and ASEAN and India sales office with collaborating with HR in respective countries. Specifically in the areas of talent management, training and development, and compensation. The regional HR AM provides strategic approach by articulating HR needs and action plans to the General Management and sales office’s head with cross-country perspective.
Additionally, Regional HR AM is responsible for ASEAN and India Mobility/Expats management by developing operational practices with complying the regulation in each country related to work pass or tax and actively improving the current practice according to the change of the requirement from external and internal stakeholders.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company’s mission and strategic vision
- Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives
- Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues as ASEAN regional activity
- Work with the company's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company as ASEAN regional activity
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals as ASEAN regional activity
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective as ASEAN regional activity
- Management and strategic planning of expats HR related matters in ASEAN countries and India
Ability/ Competency Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university; degree in human resources, commerce, economics or related field required
- A minimum of 3 years of working experience of HR experience in manufacturing or high tech industry which has sales function. The experience of HR policy change preferred
- Understanding of balance sheet approach for expats’ C&B and international income tax and social security agreement are required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Middle of supervisory and leadership skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
