Job Responsibilities:
- Observe guests and patrol lobbies hotel areas as well as back of house areas.
- Conduct investigations and keep superiors informed on incidents involving disturbances, accidents, losses, thefts and more.
- Ensure that the Security Check Point is manned and clean.
- Check and ensure that the books, files, security passes, Identity cards and keys in the Security Room are in place.
- Register all Visitors, Part-Timers, Contract Workers, and Casual Labour and issue them with Security Passes. Check their possessions subsequently when they leave the building.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably
- Ensure neat, clean and functionally operating department at all times.
- Manage the Hotel’s assets in all areas to protect their long term investment value.
- Maintain a register of all service equipment maintenance and breakages; ensure that regular programmed maintenance is carried out to manufacturers’ specifications.
- Report any loss or damage to Hotel, guests or ambassador assets on the appropriate incident report form.
- Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to company internet and email policy
