Senior Accountant - Up to $6500 / Kallang [3770]
Working Hour: Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
Salary: Salary: $5000 to $6500
Location: Kallang/Lavender Area
Report to: Group Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
- Will need to supervise an Accounts Executive
- Oversee the finance and accounting function for a group of Singapore entities and 3 regional accounts
- Review of accounts/reports prepared by Accounts Executive and third-party service providers.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process.
- Prepare monthly management reports including analyze financial reports for Singapore and regional entities.
- Provide support in group consolidated accounts for 14 entities which includes reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions.
- Ensure overseas entities submit accurate and timely reports for monthly consolidation process
- Review and submit quarterly GST return.
- Prepare audited financial statements and notes to FS for auditor’s review.
- Lead and support annual audits conducted by external auditors includes preparation of audit schedules and address audit requirements
- Liaise with tax agents for annual tax return.
- Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Fulfil other ad-hoc requirements as required by the Management.
Requirements:
- Must possess at least a Degree in Accounting or ACCA or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in financial reporting and consolidation.
- Proficient in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and taxation (GST, corporate tax)
- Good experience in MYOB, ABSS, or any other accounting/ERP software is a must.
