The Community Engagement and Marketing Executive is responsible to perform duties for Resource Development Department under the Active Community Transformation Services (ACTS) Division of Metropolitan YMCA Singapore. The incumbent is to support the outreach programmes departments in handling marketing, fundraising, volunteer management activities.
1. Marketing & Public Relations
· Develop and deliver digital and print marketing collaterals for division’s initiatives and campaigns
· Execute all marketing communications activities such as content creation across social media platforms
· Measure and report on effectiveness of social media campaigns
· Assist in coordinating with external vendor and partners for division’s project
2. Administrative & Financial
· Maintains accurate administrative records and tracking of donors and volunteers’ data in the databases
· Maintain proper record of all payments, such as basic book keeping, prepares and submits printer contra, petty cash, cash advance, purchase order, approval memos and other monthly expenses and special events
· Preparations of reports for both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. management reports)
3. Fundraising
· Support Fundraising manager in event management and projects
· Coordinate and liaise with stakeholders (e.g. individuals, corporations, foundations) for effective engagement
· Assist in donor cultivation through account tracking
· Assist in research, grant applications, proposals and donor impact reports
4. Volunteer Management
· Supports Volunteer Manager in recruitment, screening and coordination of volunteers for outreach programmes/events
· Supports volunteer engagement in volunteer onboarding, equipping and appreciation sessions
Pre-Requisitions
- Diploma in marketing or marcom-related disciplines
- Computer literate, especially in MS Office
- Ability to deliver graphic design and visual communication
- Interest in social services and community outreach
- Experience in event and project management
- Detailed and takes initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders
- Flexible and independent worker
- Ability to plan, balance and cope with competing priorities
- Team player and able to multi-task under pressure
