1. Management of Car carrier operations, including coordination with head office regarding technical & quality issue in the car carrier business in the area of responsibility(Singapore, South Africa, Red Sea, Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf).
2. Attend & supervise car carrier cargo operation at Singapore
- Attending cargo operation for quality control and damage prevention at Singapore.
- Check stowage plan before vessel arrival.
- Coordinate with central planner on stowage arrangement / update actual loading condition to planner.
- Prepare operation manual for special cargo and share with discharging port.
- Coordinate and arrange repair work for High and Heavy cargo.
3. Control the berth and yard depending on the status of connected cargo at Singapore.
4. Management and Operation monitoring, Approval work for Asia Automobile Terminal Singapore (AATS).
5. Attend & supervise cargo stuffing operation and monitor at Singapore.
6. Damage prevention activity in South Africa, Red Sea, Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf.
- Prepare damage report when incident occur & update damage record.
7. Arrangement and collection of roll trailers & stuffing materials in Southeast Asia.
- Manage roll trailer / Bolster inventory in Southeast Asia with coordination with head office.
- Keep track of roll trailer requirement by sale department.
- Manage lashing materials inventory with other Southeast Asia agent and head office.
- Coordinate and arrange repair work of damage roll trailers.
8. Management and operation of Tugmaster allocation in Inter Asia service, Arrangement for Tugmaster maintenance.
9. Checking handling availability for connecting cargo from out side of South East Asia/ Australia area.
10. Others, including Singapore local & area of responsibility requirement as and when required by head office.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess Master Mariner (unlimited) Class 1 Certificate of Competence (COC).
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience as Master on the relevant type of vessel being recruited for.
- ISM/ISO/ISPS Auditor qualification is an advantage.
- Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements.
- Working experience in related fields with broad knowledge of Marine Safety Matters.
- Experience in Ship Vetting by Majors, Ship, and Terminal Operation will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Quality Assurance and ISM will be an advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, integrity, and professionalism.
