Job Description
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates practices of nursing staff, doctors and all healthcare workers
- Conducts teaching for nursing, paramedical and medical staffs and students
- Conducts and evaluates audits
- Reviews and develops policies and procedures in consultation with nurse managers, doctors and Committee
- Carries out investigations, conducts follow-ups during outbreaks
- Plans, implements and evaluates in service talks and training courses / activities
- Ensures patient care delivery
- Prepares and update reports and other related statistics required
- Participates / leads in quality improvement / research projects
- Mentors newly appointed Nurse Clinicians
- Updates and implements hospital infection control policy in consultation with Chairman and the Infection Prevention Committee
- Conducts orientation programs for nursing staff and students
- Other duties assigned
Requirements:
- Degree in Nursing from recognized training institution as approved by Singapore Nursing Board
- Able to work independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
